French Bulldog Colors

BLACK MASK FAWN – First up we have our past mother Nadja. She is a standard color Black mask fawn. This is a color that can be shown in the show ring with the Canadian Kennel Club. This one of breed preservationist colors of choice.

CREAM – Second is Harley. He is one of our working studs. He is a standard color cream French bulldog. Cream can be shown in the show ring with the Canadian Kennel Club. This one of breed preservationist colors of choice.

Black Brindle – Third we have black brindle. This is Stella one of our past females. She is a standard color black brindle. Black brindle can be shown in the Canadian Kennel Club show ring. This one of breed preservationist colors of choice.

Blue Fawn – Fourth we have Deja. Deja is one of our past females. Deja is a Blue fawn. Although she is absolutely stunning and blues have been documented in the breed since as early as 1909 the Canadian Kennel club does not yet allow this color to compete in the show ring. This is not a breed preservationist color of choice however is inarguably one of the most sought after colors in the French bulldog breed.

Blue – Fifth we have @bellathebullie_ she is a little instagram sensation. Bella was produced here at RAD Frenchies. She is a solid blue. Although she is also absolutely stunning and blues have been documented in the breed since as early as 1909 the Canadian Kennel club does not yet allow this color to compete in the show ring. This is not a breed preservationist color of choice however is inarguably one of the most sought after colors in the French bulldog breed.

Chocolate and Tan – Sixth we have Vito. Vito is one of our retired studs. He is a Chocolate & Tan. Chocolate is the dark rich color. Tan points are the lighter boots, cheeks & eyebrows. Although he is absolutely stunning and this color has been documented in the breed since as early as 1909 the Canadian Kennel club does not yet allow this color to compete in the show ring. This is not a breed preservationist color of choice but is popular amongst families abroad.

Black – Seventh we have solid black with no brindle (lighter hairs) This is Rocky our solid black stud. Although not common and can’t be shown in the Canadian Kennel Club show ring due to the lack of bridling we find solid black to be on the rise in popularity. They have a very regal look about them and are eye catching in every way! This is not a preservationist color of choice.

Blue/Lilac & Tan – Eighth we have Grey with tan points. Lighter grey is often referred to as Lilac and darker grey is often blue but not always. It depends on the genetic markers of the parents. Although she is also absolutely stunning and im being repetitive in saying blues have been documented in the breed since as early as 1909 the Canadian Kennel club does not yet allow this color to compete in the show ring. This is not a breed preservationist color of choice however is inarguably also one of the most sought after colors in the French bulldog breed.
